We organize ourselves into expert knowledge Units that collaborate with each other.That's why we are looking for curious individuals who are motivated by challenges and eager to grow personally and professionally, to join our team and make a positive impact on the world through technology.ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?We want you to be a part of our team, from Brussels, as a Business Intelligence expertWHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?• Creation and maintenance of Data Lakehouses, including their cloud infrastructure aspects.• Adjusting architecture for public cloud, including multi-cloud distribution of data.• Gathering business requirements.• Designing ETL processes.• Data modelling.• Performance analysis and optimization of the entire flow of data from source systems (frequently on premises) to clients.• Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes• Adaptation of data for use by AI (ontologies, indexation), and intermediate AI usage.• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers• Provide supporting documentation for governance and compliance purposesWHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?Good knowledge of data lake & lakehouse designGood knowledge of advanced capabilities of Microsoft Fabric (not just Power BI), and/or Azure Synapse.Good knowledge of relational database systemsGood knowledge of non-relational database systems, including document stores (ex: CosmosDb, MongoDb).Knowledge of Spark notebooksKnowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code and working with version control systemsAbility to quickly understand complex business domains.Ability to apply high quality standardsAbility to cope with fast changing technologies used in Cloud based Data Engineering and AI.Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiencesAnalysis and problem-solving skillsCapability to write clear and structured technical documentsAbility to participate in technical meetings and good communication skillsAbility to understand, speak and write English (C1 level).The following would be a bonus:Knowledge of Generative AI Prompting and either RAG or other agentic memory techniquesKnowledge of Azure PolicyKnowledge of AWS Infrastructure as CodeKnowledge of Machine Learning workflows and servicesBasic knowledge of GDPR, and the possibility to support in documenting security measures to protect personal dataWHAT WILL YOU FIND AT SEIDOR?A diverse team.
