  • Lead and mentor the onboard survey team, offering strategic direction and practical support.
  • Foster operational excellence in survey activities by enhancing workflows and maximizing efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain clear, proactive communication channels with all critical stakeholders, including project management, client representatives, vessel leadership, and crew members.
  • Oversee project progress and ensure the accuracy of operations by leveraging advanced survey tools and software.
  • Deliver survey outputs punctually while adhering to the highest standards of precision and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the vessel leadership team—including the Captain, Chief Engineer, and OIM—to drive project success.
  • Possess a diploma in hydrographic surveying, geophysics, geology, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Bring at least 10 years of hands-on expertise in the survey sector.
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical proficiency in survey methodologies, tools, and software applications.
  • Adapt well to demanding and remote environments, with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Exhibit strong communication abilities and a critical approach to project execution and evaluation.
  • Communicate fluently in both spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Maintain a meticulous focus on detail, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Naturally inspire and motivate team members, fostering growth and development among junior surveyors.
  • Be prepared to undertake extended assignments onboard vessels, adhering to rotational schedules of 1:1 for offshore work or 2:1 for dredging projects.
