SAP Functional Consultant – Indirect Tax Location: Limburg, Netherlands (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week) About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Indirect Tax to join our global client's team. This senior-level position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex tax compliance requirements across multiple countries. They are based in the Limburg region, requiring someone to be onsite 3 days per week. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and implement SAP solutions for indirect tax compliance across 30-40 countries worldwide Lead initiatives spanning Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes Configure and optimize Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Invoice Management modules with a focus on tax compliance Provide expert guidance on indirect tax configuration in S/4HANA environments Support tax compliance audits and assist with regulatory reporting requirements Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tax process efficiency and accuracy Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on SAP tax functionality and best practices Implement and maintain Document Reporting and Compliance (DRC) solutions for global tax reporting requirements Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant Deep expertise in Indirect Tax configuration and compliance within SAP Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and support Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and Invoice Management modules Hands-on experience with Document Reporting and Compliance (DRC) Comprehensive understanding of R2R, O2C, and P2P processes Experience managing tax compliance across multiple countries (30-40 countries experience highly valued) Fluent in English (written and spoken) Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of international VAT/GST regulations and compliance requirements SAP certification in relevant modules Experience with SAP Tax Compliance solutions Familiarity with local tax requirements across European and global jurisdictions Work Arrangement This role requires 3 days per week onsite at our Limburg location, with flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days. #J-18808-Ljbffr
