About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Export & Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to join the Supply & Customer Service team of an international pharmaceutical company active in niche hospital products for the European market. You will ensure the operational coordination of supply and customer service activities by managing priorities, interfaces and stakeholder communication, and by driving the execution of export and distribution flows. As the operational lead, you will supervise a team of three people (currently two), allocate tasks, and act as operational backup when needed, while remaining actively involved in day-to-day execution. You will report directly to the Customer Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily activities of the Export & Supply team and ensure operational continuity
- Monitor product availability and inventory levels at the distribution centre and with international partners
- Manage end-to-end international order execution, from planning through to final delivery
- Oversee export documentation and ensure full compliance with customs, regulatory and commercial requirements
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for international distributors and partners
- Supervise and develop a team of three, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
Main Activities
- Organize team priorities, monitor KPIs, and lead cross-functional operational meetings with effective follow-up of action plans
- Coordinate supply requirements with Production, Planning and Procurement teams
- Anticipate supply risks while optimizing inventory coverage, stock rotation and expiry management
- Coordinate international outbound shipments and packaging/repackaging activities, ensuring delivery deadlines are met
- Manage export documentation and apply strong knowledge of Incoterms and international trade procedures
- Collect, analyse and follow up on sales, inventory and forecast data, and coordinate resolution of customer complaints
- Manage both direct distribution and consignment sales models, including sales report handling
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Applied Economics or an equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Export, Customer Service or Supply Chain operations within an international environment
- Demonstrated experience coordinating a team and/or operational projects
- Experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international trade procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented and organized approach
- Fluent in English, written and spoken; additional languages are an asset
- Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis
