Senior Field Installation Technician

⚠️ This role requires frequent international travel across Europe.

nanoGrid is growing fast and we’re looking for an experienced, hands-on technical installer to support and lead our installations in Belgium and abroad.

This role is for someone who knows electrical installations inside out, enjoys being on-site, and wants to play a key role in deploying nanoGrid technology across international projects.

🔹 What you’ll do

• Lead on-site installation activities and provide technical guidance during complex projects
• Install, wire, configure and commission dataloggers, sensors, meters and CTs and communication devices
• Work on low-voltage cabinets (breakers, power taps, adjustments)
• Perform work in HV cabins when required (BA4 / BA5)
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and installation issues on site
• Verify measurements and ensure all installed devices communicate correctly with the nanoGrid platform
• Train and guide local technicians and partners
• Serve as the primary technical contact during installations
• Travel frequently to customer sites across Europe

🔹 What we’re looking for

• Several years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical installations
• Able to read electrical diagrams and work independently
• BA4 & BA5 certification (required)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willing to travel frequently
• Fluent in English (French is a strong plus)
• Practical, reliable and safety-conscious
