Our customer based in Hasselt offers industry-leading GaN-on-Si and GaN-on-SiC material solutions,
enabling the next generation of Efficient Power Electronic, RF Power, and Sensor devices and systems, with
a strong focus on 5G telecom devices. The III-Nitride epiwafers are deposited by MOCVD in its clean room facility operated in Hasselt.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in our production line: You will be in charge of the implementation of one or more production and/or analysis steps on our process and characterization equipment.
- Control different parameters and take appropriate actions: You will contribute to the proper functioning of the production line, detect any deviations that may occur, and perform basic maintenance procedures.
- Act exemplary towards safety and environmental regulations: You will follow the safety procedures as you work in the Clean Room's specific environment, avoiding/detecting any risk situations, correctly handling chemical products, and wearing appropriate protective clothing.
Profile:
- Graduated from a Technical Diploma, demonstrating a high interest in working in a High Technology Environment.
- Fluent in English and cross-culturally agile due to the international character of Soitec Belgium.
- IT competencies.
- A first experience in a cleanroom environment would be a strong asset.
- Handy, as you will have to handle fragile and expensive materials.
- Autonomous, able to organize your work independently.
- Enjoy taking up new challenges in a fast-growing company.
Offer:
Position based in Hasselt, Belgium
* Position to be on shift mode (Monday to Friday from 13h30 - 22h00)
* Training will be provided during several weeks with our senior process technician.
