Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Hoboken, Belgium - 100% onsite Duration: 1+ Year contract Project description As Project Manager, you will manage the projects assigned to you from A to Z. This will be a combination of larger and smaller projects, including both new initiatives and expansions. Primary Tasks and responsibilities • Manage the scope, budget, timeline, and quality of projects from A to Z • Coordinate engineering (basic and detailed), execution, and commissioning • Responsible for project layout, determining process parameters in consultation with production and R&D colleagues, providing input for P&IDs and design • Managing and monitoring the process-related part within their projects • Focus on safety, ergonomics, automation, maintenance, and energy efficiency • Collaborate with the purchasing department for components and services • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (internal and external)• Communicate with internal stakeholders • Coordinate site and execution • Organise the commissioning phase Technical profile requirements • Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or metallurgical) or equivalent through experience o Minimum degree: industrial engineer • Minimum 10 years of experience as an end-to-end Project Manager in multi-disciplinary projects or within one of the aforementioned disciplines • Relevant experience in the sector, preferably in chemistry/metallurgy/machine construction • Minimum 5 years of experience as a (Project) Engineer within one of the aforementioned disciplines • Ability to read and draw P&ID's • Strong technical insight = absolute minimum requirement Non-Technical profile requirements • Positive attitude and team-oriented • Sense of responsibility and initiative • Hands-on mentality and safety awareness • Strong communication skills • Proficiency in Dutch is required Methodology/Certification requirements • VCA VOL • Certification as project manager is a strong added value Language proficiencies • Dutch: fluent • Other languages are a plus
