Senior Cyber Security Auditor

Over the past 20 years, they have supported both public and private organisations in uncovering facts, assessing risks, and strengthening security systems. With offices in Erpe-Mere, they operate as a high-impact team that highly values precision and discretion, which has enabled them to successfully build long-term partnerships with some of Belgium’s most prominent organisations, including multiple BEL 20-listed companies. Given their growth ambitions, we are supporting them in their search for a new Senior Cyber Security Auditor . Responsibilities You analyse IT security environments and perform risk assessments, enabling you to develop customised security strategies tailored to client needs. You advise on security solutions such as firewalls, antivirus software, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools. You draft and implement security policies and procedures on behalf of the client, ensuring alignment with relevant standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIS2. You actively share knowledge to ensure collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. Findings are translated into clear, actionable reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences. By keeping up with the latest cybersecurity trends, you proactively identify opportunities for improvement and share relevant insights, both internally and externally. You report directly to the management of i‑Force. Qualifications You are fluent in Dutch or French (non-negotiable) and you are fluent in English. You have 3 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, such as security consultant/auditor or penetration tester. You’re experienced in conducting cybersecurity audits and performing vulnerability analyses. You have excellent knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and cyber threat management. You're comfortable working with penetration testing tools and techniques. You have strong knowledge of regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIS2. To excel in this role, you are results-oriented, take initiative, and combine a hands-on mentality with strategic thinking. You have strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail. You can maintain a strong helicopter view and simultaneously manage multiple projects. You’re a true team player with strong reporting skills and a client-focused mindset. You remain calm and efficient under pressure. Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CISM, or SANS are considered an advantage. You are based in i-Force’s HQ in Erpe-Mere with a flexible homeworking policy (1 to 2 days). You are flexible towards occasional travel in Belgium.
