Location: Ghent, Belgium Job Type: Full-timeAre you a finance professional with a passion for accuracy and process improvement? We are looking for a Budget Planning Officer to take charge of our EDC Resource Plan. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our budget cycle, ensuring that our financial targets are met through meticulous tracking, reporting, and control. You will act as an advocate for cost transparency and help standardize financial processes across our European development bases.Key ResponsibilitiesBudget Management: Manage the entire EDC budget cycle, including expenses, investments, and workforce requirements.Reporting & Analysis: Track and report results versus budget, ensuring total accuracy and adherence to targets.Process Optimization: Enhance and standardize budget planning and reporting processes across Europe.Strategic Support: Improve cost planning and monitoring as a pillar of effective project management.Advocacy: Promote cost responsibility and financial transparency throughout the organization.Your ProfileMaster's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Commercial Engineering.Prior experience in a similar budget or financial control role.Advanced Excel user.
