Financial Controller – International Technology Company

Location: Limburg, Belgium, Hybrid

We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join the finance team of an established international technology and distribution company in the Limburg region.

This could be a great next step for someone working as a financial controller or someone with a strong accounting background who wants to move into a broader finance role, with the opportunity to develop towards a Senior Finance Manager position over time.

The role:

You’ll support the day-to-day finance function, with a particular focus on month-end closing, reporting and general ledger accounting. As you settle into the role, there will also be opportunities to get more involved with the wider business.

The role:

Supporting month-end closing and financial reporting
Preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
Supporting cash-flow forecasting
Preparing financial reports and ad-hoc analysis
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider business

Who are we looking for?

Strong accounting foundation with hands-on experience
Senior Accountant, Financial Controller or similar background
Ready to move into a broader, business-facing finance role

You should have:
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and general ledger accounting
Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
Good understanding of journals, reconciliations and double-entry accounting
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
SAP experience is a strong plus
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
