Join TransPerfect Media We're expanding our network of Belgium-based freelancers for regular collaborations throughout the year. Freelance, paid projects – compensation varies depending on profile and project type. TransPerfect Media (Lylo Media Group) is seeking freelance subtitlers located in Belgium to work on subtitling and SDH projects. Main responsibilities · Working from the source video to create and spot subtitles · Translate and/or adapt the source language with accuracy · Adhere to the technical rules (reading speed, synchronization, CPL, and specific SDH rules)· Deliver a finished .stl file free of errors · Liaise with the PM for delivery, quality checks and feedback Requirements and experience · Knowledge of subtitling tools · Knowledge and adherence to technical subtitling and SDH norms · Attention to detail and accuracy · Translation experience · Subtitling and SDH experience · Degree in audiovisual translation (preferred) Language pairs · FR / NL → EN · EN / NL → FR · EN / FR → NL · FR → FR (SME)· FR → EN (SDH)
