Talent Acquisition Officer – Senior Start date: ASAP. Duration: 3 month contract initially, options to extend long term. Location: Hoboken/Olen, Belgium. Rotation: Monday-Friday. Type: Freelance contract. Description Department: P&O Operations Client information This client stands as a global leader in materials technology, rooted in Belgium with four local sites. We innovate and produce high-performance materials for solar cells, rechargeable batteries, and catalysts, while also recycling precious metals from electronic devices. Department description and responsibilities The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying and attracting top talent for the organization. You'll collaborate with the Talent Sourcing Specialists and Hiring Managers to understand the staffing needs. This role involves sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding skilled workers within various departments. Project description: We are looking for a talent acquisition officer to join the team for finding the right candidates for different departments. You'll lead the recruitment of 20-25 open vacancies. Primary Tasks and responsibilities - Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. - Create and align job postings according to client standards. - Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. - Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. - Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry contacts to create a talent pipeline. - Track and report on recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies. Technical profile requirements - 7+ Years experience within Recruitment , preferably in a similar industry - Experience with recruitment of different type of profiles (Blue & white colour .)- Experience managing high volume requisitions in a fast-paced environment. - Strong understanding of labour laws and regulations related to hiring. - Knowledge of SHL tests and questionnaires is a plus (OPQ, MQ, G+)- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ATS (SuccessFactors, ...) Non-Technical profile requirements - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong listening skills and interviewing skills Methodology/Certification requirements - Bachelor's degree in HR, Business administration or relevant field Language proficiencies - Fluent speaking and writing English - Fluent speaking and writing Dutch - proficiency in other languages is a major plus (German and/or French) Location - min. 3days/Week onsite presence in Hoboken & Olen Office, during onboarding period fulltime Contract - start ASAP - first contract until end of the year, extension foreseen in 2026 Skills ATS (SAP HCM, ERP) - 7 Years Experience as recruiter for corporate profiles - 7 Years Experience as recruiter for technical profiles - 7 Years
