⚓ Ship Repair Estimator🛠️ Ship Repair & Conversion📍 Antwerp, Belgium💶 €2000 - €4000 net per month (DOE) 🌍 EU Passport / Right to Work in Belgium RequiredA well-established marine company operating within the European ship repair sector is seeking an experienced Ship Repair Estimator to support tendering and project pricing for drydock and afloat repair works.The role is based in Antwerp, one of Europe’s key maritime and ship repair hubs, offering exposure to a wide range of commercial and specialist vessels.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of detailed cost estimates for ship repair and conversion projectsReviewing technical specifications, class requirements, and scope of workLiaising with production, purchasing, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricingEvaluating labour hours, materials, services, and dock costsSupporting negotiations with owners, superintendents, and brokersAssisting with variation pricing and post-project cost analysisMaintaining estimating databases and historical cost recordsRequirementsProven experience as a Ship Repair Estimator or similar role within a shipyard or marine contractorStrong understanding of ship repair processes (hull, mechanical, piping, electrical)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailFluent English requiredEU passport or unrestricted right to work in Belgium
