Om ons team te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een Lead Data Architect (M/V/X) Over ons Met onze gegevens en inzichten ondersteunen we vanuit Stichting Kankerregister beleidsmakers, faciliteren we onderzoek, en dragen we bij aan een betere zorg voor kankerpatiënten. Zo leveren we een essentiële bijdrage aan de kankerbestrijding in België en internationaal. Om nóg meer impact te maken met onze gegevens, zetten we volop in op de ontwikkeling en implementatie van nieuwe technologieën om de gegevens efficiënter en uitgebreider te verzamelen en toegankelijker te maken. Om deze transitie samen met onze externe IT-partners mee te helpen waarmaken, zoeken we een visionaire en strategische lead data architect. Als lead data architect ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van een technologisch toekomstplan dat aansluit bij de missie van onze organisatie. Je fungeert als brugfiguur tussen onze interne medische experten, data-managers en externe IT-partners. Je bent uitstekend op de hoogte van ontwikkelingen op het gebied van gegevensuitwisseling en onderhoudt nauwe contacten met de partnerorganisaties. Daarnaast neem je het voortouw in het intern opbouwen van technische kennis en leid je samen met de domein manager data innovatie en de administratief directeur de technologische ontwikkelingen in goede banen. Je vormt een geoliede tandem met de domein manager data-innovatie, waarbij jouw technische bagage een perfecte match vormt met de medisch- wetenschappelijke bagage van de domein manager. Jouw takenpakket Technologische visie: Je ontwikkelt en implementeert een strategisch technologieplan dat gericht is op innovatie en de interne capaciteiten versterkt. Dit plan wordt afgestemd op de doelstellingen en ontwikkelingen in het bredere veld van de gezondheidsgegevens, zowel op Europees niveau (EHDS) als op nationaal niveau (HDAB). Innovatie op vlak van data-uitwisseling: Je stimuleert technologische innovatie binnen de organisatie om de efficiëntie en schaalbaarheid van dataverwerking en -analyse te vergroten. Denk daarbij onder andere aan de implementatie van standaarden zoals FHIR en OMOP, en terminologieën zoals SNOMED-CT en LOINC. Innovatie op vlak van data-infrastructuur: Je stuurt de verdere ontwikkeling en optimalisatie van onze open-source ontwikkelomgeving en datawarehouse, inclusief het beheer ervan. Je analyseert bestaande processen kritisch en initieert verbeteringen. Team- en kennisopbouw: Je bouwt verder aan een intern technisch team, waarvoor je een leidinggevende rol opneemt. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor kennisopbouw, en stimuleert kennisdeling. Stakeholder management: Je fungeert als technisch aanspreekpunt en brugfiguur tussen interne medische-wetenschappelijke experten en externe IT-partners. Je onderhoudt kwaliteitsvolle contacten met partnerorganisaties zoals eHealth, RIZIV, Sciensano, overheden… op het vlak van technologische innovatie. Je genoot een technische masteropleiding (computerwetenschappen, toegepaste informatica, software engineering, biomedical engineering,…). Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als data architect of in een vergelijkbare technische rol Bij voorkeur heb je enige ervaring in een leidinggevende rol. Je hebt een uitgebreide kennis van data-architecturen, data-platformen, softwareontwikkeling en complexe datasystemen. Je bent bekend met technologieën zoals R, Python, SQL en Git. Ervaring met gezondheidsgegevens is een sterke plus. Je beschikt over uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden om te schakelen tussen technische en niet-technische stakeholders, zowel binnen als buiten de organisatie. Je spreekt Nederlands en/of Frans, en hebt minstens een passieve kennis van de andere landstaal. Je krijgt een sleutelrol binnen een organisatie met maatschappelijke impact, waarin je bijdraagt aan het voorkomen en beter behandelen van kanker. Je kan aan het werk gaan in een boeiende en stimulerende omgeving, vanuit een aangename werksfeer en met een 60-tal gepassioneerde collega's met diverse achtergronden (artsen, bio-medici, statistici, bio-ingenieurs,…).
