Job Title: DevOps Infrastructure Specialist Overview:We are seeking a skilled DevOps engineer to join our team. As a freelancer, you will be responsible for providing support to multiple teams on infrastructure and platform operations.Responsibilities Include:Troubleshooting and solving automation/monitoring faults Design and advise on best practices for infrastructure operations Creating and maintaining internal alerting rules Creating work instructions, documentation and procedures Automate the daily work where possible Actively contribute to the migration of legacy tooling and environment, but also to new projects delivery Profile:A no-nonsense IT engineer with all-round IT-interests always willing to go the extra mile, delivering accuracy and security in the work performed. The ideal candidate will have experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Ansible and Docker containers. Additionally, knowledge or interest in monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana is a plus. The candidate should also understand monitoring concepts through SNMP or API. Furthermore, hands-on experience of network & security related technologies is an asset. Experience with database technologies, ideally PostgreSQL, Timescaledb is also desirable. Good administrative skills with a strong eye for detail are required.
