As a Civil Structures Engineer engaged in the planning, design, and construction supervision stages of infrastructure and building works, you will develop and implement best practices in structural engineering.

You will assist in formulating innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet client needs while maintaining sound financial control.

As project manager/project engineer, you will ensure projects meet client objectives and are delivered on program and to budget.

You will foster the development of expertise among our staff, including coaching technical staff to undertake design works using suites of appropriate software, including numerical analysis.

Attend design meetings, site meetings, and all other project-related meetings.

Participate in fee proposals, technical bids, and tender submissions.

Develop client relationships and attend business-related functions.

What You'll Need:

1. Enthusiasm to work on challenging projects with the capacity to work successfully under minimal supervision.
2. Receptive to adopting new techniques while having the capacity to identify and address design risks.
3. Client-centric and collaborative outlook; technical excellence is important.
4. Degree holder in Structural or Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree may be an advantage.
5. Ambition to become a Registered Professional Engineer and Registered Structural Engineer.
6. Post-chartered experience in structural works design; experience in the structural design of both buildings and infrastructure works is an advantage.
7. Experience in engaging with the Buildings Department, Airport Authority, MTRC, etc.
8. Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
9. Proactive, energetic, quality-oriented, and have a high sense of accountability.
10. Good command of spoken and written English.
