Senior Platform Architect

Twikit is building the future of digital product interaction and customization. Our platform powers interactive 3D configuration and CPQ workflows for global brands. We are currently looking for a passionate team player with proven experience in driving software and platform engineering efforts within fast-moving, entrepreneurial companies. What we are looking for As a Senior Platform Architect, you combine architectural thinking with hands-on full-stack engineering. You join a vibrant company with an entrepreneurial team working for global A-brands. Your focus is on accelerating our transition toward a 3D CPQ product proposition, shaping the technical direction of our platform, and contributing directly to key components. Writing code remains an active part of your role. You ensure that TwikBot, our 3D configurator and CPQ platform, evolves with a clear architecture, predictable delivery, and high engineering standards. You define how TwikBot connects to the customer's digital ecosystem by aligning data flows, integration points, and system boundaries with e-commerce platforms, ERP/CRM systems, and manufacturing processes. Collaboration is central to your work. You partner closely with engineering, product, and customer teams to translate requirements into clear technical specifications and roadmap items—without becoming an additional layer between teams. When needed, you also represent Twikit externally, providing clarity on architectural decisions, platform capabilities, and long-term technological direction. You are energized by architecting and guiding impactful software solutions: You understand how to design and challenge scalable architectures and communication patterns. You can structure complex product themes into clear technical specifications and roadmap items. You enjoy defining data flows, API interactions, and system boundaries for complex integration and CPQ scenarios. You maintain architectural oversight and help the team make sound technical choices. You enjoy building reusable components and frameworks that accelerate development. You balance long-term quality with pragmatic iteration and can explain your reasoning. You value documentation, clarity, and a solution-first mindset. You stay hands-on for a significant portion of your time, contributing directly to front-end and back-end development to stay close to the technology and the team. You proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities early. You contribute to the evolution of our platform and our transition toward an expanded CPQ offering. You feel comfortable representing the technical vision and platform architecture toward external stakeholders when needed. You join select customer calls as a technical representative, helping shape solution direction and validate requirements. Skills Technical expertise Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript. Skilled with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular 2+, Vue, Ember.js). Experience with Node.js back-end technologies (Express, NestJS, serverless). Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed system design. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Understanding of integration patterns and microservice communication. Comfortable with testing practices, TDD, and automation frameworks. Architecture & solutioning capabilities Ability to gather and challenge functional requirements and convert them into clear technical designs. Skilled in mapping business goals to architectural decisions and development priorities. Confident in briefing developers, coordinating priorities, and guarding architectural consistency. Able to identify technical risks, integration complexities, and dependencies early. Strong communicator who can connect technical depth with business context.
