Area Sales Manager – DACH BEA Sensors Europe is recruiting an Area Sales Manager for the DACH region, based in Liège, Belgium. Responsibility Identify potential revenue opportunities and develop sales strategy for BEA sensors in pedestrian‑application market. Close sales in the region – automate doors, windows and related solutions – and achieve set targets. Report directly to Head of Area ‘Center’ and collaborate with Technical Sales and Inside Sales Coordinators. Key Competencies Understand customer needs and fit them into broader portfolio. Strong technical curiosity – grasp solutions quickly and work efficiently with engineering teams. Create clear, focused selling arguments. Team spirit with open information sharing and proactive teamwork. Willingness to leave comfort zone – continuous learning is essential. Curiosity to understand product sensing and business context. Emotional intelligence – listen, capture hidden needs and build trust with customers. Adaptability & flexibility – handle evolving tasks and priorities. Communication – clear, constructive dialogue inside and outside the company. Humor and openness – we enjoy a light, fun working environment. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years as international area or key account manager. Bachelor in commercial or technical field. Maintain and expand existing customer relationships, establish strategic partnerships with local key accounts and OEM subsidiaries. Recognize and realize sales opportunities with existing customers and new prospects. Build a strong network influencing the market. Conduct product training for customers (technical or commercial). Travel readiness – 30–40% of time on the road. Comfort with data, statistics and presentations. Languages German – C2 native level, negotiation‑secure. English – C1 negotiation‑secure, very good knowledge. French – C1/B2 good knowledge; additional languages a plus. Employer BEA employs more than 450 passionate employees worldwide.
