Protime Mechelen, Flemish Region, Belgium What you´ll do We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Python) to join our team and help us take our AI-driven planning solutions to the next level. You will work closely with a small, focused team and collaborate with a larger group of developers to integrate and optimize our AI layer. Iterate and improve the AI layer developed by an external team. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing software. Take ownership of tasks and contribute ideas to enhance product functionality. Develop and maintain APIs and backend services. Ensure robust monitoring and performance optimisation. What you bring Python: Strong proficiency in Python for machine learning and backend development. Cloud: Experience with Azure . Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Bicep . GitOps: Hands‑on experience with GitHub and GitLab workflows. Monitoring: Knowledge of Grafana for system monitoring. Databases: Experience with MsSQL. Database Migrations: Proficiency with Alembic. ORM: Experience using SQL Model. API Development: Skilled in FastAPI. .NET experience is a plus. Strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Ability to think critically and propose improvements.
