As we continue to expand our product offerings and global footprint, we are seeking a talented and driven Senior Accountant to join our team.
Position OverviewKey Responsibilities- You take responsibility for the monthly closing process of three legal entities, including one US company entity:
- Payroll journal entries (BE, FR, US & GE);
- Inventory reconciliation;
- Intercompany reconciliation;
- Deferred income;
- Recording purchase invoices;
- Registering bank statements of incoming & outgoing payments;
- Depreciations;
- Expense reports;
- You maintain and fine-tune the analytical accounting procedures.
- You follow up on fiscal aspects (VAT filings, intrastate) for the BE entities.
- You prepare the monthly US sales tax filings for the US entity.
- You prepare the weekly payment run.
- You are the first point of contact for the current banking operations, fiscal advisors, and auditors.
- You prepare the statutory financial statements and are the Finance Director's right hand, building out the finance organization of a fast-growing business.
- Master's or a bachelor's degree in an economic discipline (accountancy preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an accounting function
- Knowledge of BE GAAP and main tax (VAT, corporate taxes) and payroll principles
- Experience with Exact Online is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong language skills; Dutch and English, as we are an international organization
