Title: Business Intelligence ExpertLocation: Brussels, BelgiumDuration: 6 monthsLanguages: English and FrenchJob DescriptionAs a Business Intelligence Expert you will:Define functional & non-functional requirements, metrics and KPIs.Conduct business case analysis for data analytics initiatives.Coordinate data analytics services: transformation, dashboards, architecture review.Develop reports, dashboards, BI solutions and proof of concepts.Provide ad-hoc analysis, expert advice and best practices (BI, Qlik, R/Python).Monitor service quality, oversee support teams, and report to management.Prepare quality plans, assessments, control tests, and service agreements.Collaborate with business, project teams, and internal stakeholders.QualificationsWhat would make you a fit for the role:University degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.Over 15 years of expertise in BI, Data Analytics, Data Integration/Virtualisation, Data Modelling, ETL/ELT, dashboards, and data mining.10+ years of hands-on experience with Qlik products, including QlikView, Qlik Sense, NPrinting, and Qlik GeoAnalytics.Deep knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, data transformation & architecture, governance, data quality, data science/statistics, and cloud BI solutions.Strong skills in SQL, Business Objects, BODS, and other data warehouse tools.Proven ability in performance monitoring, KPI production, quality management, and delivering reliable data and analytics.Excellent skills in technical and non-technical documentation, presentations, and leading multilingual meetings.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English (minimum B2); French is an advantage.Additional expertise in Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Excel, .NET) and data mining/programming (ETL, R, Python).
