IntroductionFor a leading international technology services provider, we are looking for a motivated IT Field Engineer to strengthen their team in Belgium. The company specialises in hardware services, infrastructure solutions, cloud, virtualisation, automation and large-scale computing environments.The RoleAs an IT Field Engineer, you will provide on-site hardware support for enterprise-grade servers, storage and networking equipment across Belgium. Your time will be split between field interventions, support at customer locations, and international assignments on computing projects.Installing, maintaining and repairing server and storage hardware at customer locations.Acting as backup engineer.Supporting networking-related tasks as part of daily interventions.Managing customer issues, ensuring SLA compliance and escalating when necessary.Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.Every 8 weeks standby.Your ProfileStrong interest in IT and technologyRecent graduateBasic troubleshooting skills (hardware/software).Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.Proactive, eager to learn and able to adapt to different environments.Flexibility to travel within Belgium and internationally.Valid B driving licence.Certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus.OfferExtensive training on enterprise hardware technologies and full certification pathwaysOpportunities to develop in networking, consultancy and high-performance/supercomputing environments.International travel opportunities for unique, large-scale technical projects.
