Hoe zal jouw dag eruit zien?
Je takenpakket als Risk Advisor ziet er erg gevarieerd uit. Samen met je meer ervaren collega's werk je op verschillende risico-gerelateerde projecten zoals Risico Beheer, Interne Audits, Cybersecurity en Data Privacy. In de praktijk houdt dit in dat je onder andere:
- Inzicht verkrijgt in het huidige risico-landschap van een klant en hierbij de volwassenheid van hun capaciteiten beoordeelt en aanbevelingen maakt.
- Kwetsbaarheden identificeert in de controle omgeving of processen van klanten en beoordeelt door middel van interviews en inspectie van systemen en documenten.
- Uitvoeren van een attestatie traject bij de klant, waarbij onder andere de bedrijfsprocessen als IT processen (beveiliging, continuiteit en veranderingsbeheer) onder de loep genomen worden.
- Ethische social engineering aanvallen uitvoert bij klanten in het kader van cyber opdrachten.
Je gaat daarvoor regelmatig al mee naar de klant, maar spendeert hiervoor ook een groot deel op kantoor, waar je je voornamelijk bezig houdt met documentatie en teamoverleg. Je wordt als het ware van A tot Z betrokken bij de dossiers waar je je tanden inzet, terwijl je kan rekenen op de nodige steun en feedback van je collega's. Je rapporteert bovendien op een transparante manier, aangezien je vaak op verschillende projecten tegelijkertijd zal werken. Een dag waarop je aan 4 dossiers werkt, is geen uitzondering. Gelukkig kan jij goed met deadlines en druk om en kan je ook wat uitrusten in kalmere periodes.

Als je jezelf zou moeten omschrijven, is een van de eerste woorden die in je hoofd opkomen 'flexibiliteit'. Jongleren met verschillende deadlines of op 1 dag meerdere dossiers behandelen? Een koud kunstje voor jou. Je durft initiatief nemen en nieuwe ideeën aanbrengen, maar staat ook open voor het standpunt van jouw collega's. Je koppelt ook vlot terug over de voortgang van je projecten; teamspirit is voor jou een logisch gegeven.
Je gaat analytisch en nauwkeurig te werk. Je kan op een objectieve en kritische manier naar je werk en dat van anderen kijken. Stress? Wat is dat? Je kan goed prioriteiten stellen en kan vlot met deadlines omgaan. Een taak op tijd afkrijgen kost jou geen moeite.
Je drukt je vlot uit in het Nederlands en het Engels, Frans is een groot pluspunt. Je zal afstuderen in een master handelsingenieur, toegepaste economiche wetenschappen, toegepaste informatica, handelswetenschappen, risk management, computerwetenschappen of gelijkaardige.
Volgende certificaties zijn een plus:
CIA, CISA, CISSP, CFE, Certified DPO
