Financial analyst for IT Finance team

About the Role:

To reinforce our Finance project team, servicing an IT division of a global automotive brand with European HQ in Brussels, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated team member to support & transform the financial governance, processes, and controls as well as act as a financial partner towards internal stakeholder to achieve financial targets.

This team aims to redesign digital business transformation with agility, speed and innovation and to become a strategic partner by evolving its current operating model from Process level (reactive) towards Value levels (proactive).

This requires enhancing cross-functional management capabilities by evolving the operating model, that enable effective execution of strategy and improve governance, strategic execution and operational.

One of the key objectives is Digital Profit Improvement: act with entrepreneurial mindset and use money wisely to secure Investments to allow Business Transformation.

Your responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will be:

1 – IT Financial Management Strategy and lead financial governance

  1. Partner with Leadership team to align IT&D Transformation Strategy and translate into business case
  2. Enable and update the IT&D financial governance to facilitate effective decision making within the organisation

2 - Lead and manage the design and execution of Pan-European IT Financial processes

  1. Implement and/or improve IT processes including financial aspects
  2. Support IT leadership through the Strategic Portfolio Management process to facilitate (cross-)team(s) coordination and prioritization

3 - Own & Manage Financial

  1. Represent IT partners for general financial processes of HQ
  2. Support IT partners for specific IT financial processes (HQ and Affiliated companies)
  3. Support collaboration with all Business units to achieve strategic profit management (actuals) and set targets (plan)

Enable the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) framework to drive value-based decision making based on financial transparency

Your profile:

Education:

You hold a Master Business Management, Business Engineering, Polytech or similar

Experience:

No professional experience required; we are welcoming graduates for this application process.

Obviously, interest in Financial Management/ Budget Planning processes, Automotive industry and IT controlling are essential.

Skills and competencies:

  1. You are curious mind dotted of an analytical mindset and you use it to understand a broad range of organisational challenges
  2. You are eager to learn (or improve your skills) to communicate and influence mid & senior-level management and key stakeholders
  3. You adhere the company values & principles
  4. You are at ease with MS Office or commit to quickly learn (MS Excel & Powerpoint)

Language: Fluent in English (corporate language), any other European language is an added value
