De Head of Data is verantwoordelijk voor het definiëren en uitvoeren van de datastrategie binnen Ethias. Het verzamelen, analyseren en optimaal inzetten van de gegevens staat centraal in jouw missie. Je krijgt dan ook de mogelijkheid om dataprojecten te initiëren en beheren, die nauw moeten aansluiten bij de strategie Ethias.

Om voldoende impact te bekomen, werk je transversaal samen met teams uit de verschillende directies. Je gaat dan ook graag de uitdaging aan om hun databehoeften te begrijpen zodat teams in staat zijn om opportuniteiten te detecteren en hun doelstellingen te bereiken.

Wat doe je dan concreet?

  • De Head of Data ben je in staat om een datateam met verschillende profielen te leiden en te inspireren en om programma's op te zetten in samenwerking met andere ondersteunende teams om een sterke datacultuur binnen de organisatie te bevorderen.
  • Je superviseert met betrekking tot gegevensbeheer en zorg je in samenwerking met de IT-afdeling voor de consistentie van de IT-architectuur met de behoeften op het gebied van gegevensbeheer.
  • Samenwerken met stakeholders om duidelijke doelstellingen te definiëren en de gewenste resultaten te bereiken. Hier zorg je voor de nodige aanbevelingen.
  • De datastrategie van het bedrijf ontwikkelen en uitvoeren.
  • De data lifecycle beheren, van gegevensverzameling tot analyse en archivering.
  • Een robuuste datastructuurarchitectuur opbouwen en onderhouden.
  • Trends en ontwikkelingen in datastrategieën monitoren.

Als Head of Data ben je tot slot verantwoordelijk voor de continue ontwikkeling van nieuwe technologieën en methoden met betrekking tot gegevensbeheer om aan de top van sectorinnovaties te blijven.

Profiel kandidaat

Welke vaardigheden en talenten breng jij mee naar Ethias?

  • Leiding geven en samenwerken is key Zowel intern als naar externe partijen zoals bv onze IT leverancier.
  • Je hebt een uitstekend begrip van concepten en praktijken van data management, inclusief integratie, modellering, governance en gegevensbeveiliging.
  • Sterke vaardigheden in data-analyse om analyses te bieden die de bedrijfsdoelstellingen ondersteunen.
  • Kennis van data-gerelateerde technologieën, DWH, data science tools en cloud-architecturen.
  • Projectmanagementvaardigheden, strategische planning en het oplossen van complexe problemen.
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden om de datacultuur te bevorderen en te communiceren met verschillende afdelingen van het bedrijf en externe leveranciers.
