When maintenance systems fail, production lines can collapse, causing safety risks, downtime, and reputational damage. We welcome you to support intrapreneurial projects as a medior Reliability Engineer. The scope is to strengthen maintenance reliability on critical production equipment, ensuring safe operations and sustainable performance. The Key Responsibilities Expected From Our Consultant Develop and optimize maintenance plans, including criticality analysis, failure modes, and machine breakdowns. Recommend specific maintenance tasks and write technical instructions; identify and analyze key technical posts from site surveys and technical documents. Integrate and manage equipment coding in the CMMS; adjust spare-parts stock management parameters; train clients on using these systems. Use and manage work orders to formalize and track interventions; create and trigger maintenance plans. Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs, quality, and timelines, providing objective analyses for decision-making. Drive maintenance performance through KPIs by choosing, implementing, and tracking indicators to optimize operations. Analyze primary causes of failures using methods such as Root Cause Analysis, Why-Why, and Ishikawa. Support projects by facilitating communication and reporting between stakeholders. Manage and prioritize a backlog of work; prepare and schedule interventions according to quality standards. Manage spare parts, including coding, stock control and repairables; plan workload according to available resources. The Experience We Are Actively Looking For Master’s degree in industrial engineering, electromechanics or electricity First professional experience in maintenance, reliability methodologies (Root-Cause Analysis, Pareto), and/or with equipment criticality and failure modes Ability to read, understand, and modify P&ID and electrical diagrams Interest in working within highly demanding industries such as pharma, energy, or heavy industry Strong communication skills to build trust with stakeholders Proactive, rigorous, and adaptable with proven ability to set priorities Safety-focused mindset Fluency in French with solid understanding of English Valid work and residence permits for Belgium (mandatory for non-EU candidates) Immediate availability and presence in Belgium are preferred Your best career choice will be one that propels you toward becoming a future intrapreneur or entrepreneur in your field of expertise.
