Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Funded Project Manager for our Public R&D Policies and Programs group. This role involves coordinating all funding activities at imec, particularly in the health research domain.

What you will do:

  1. You will be the interface of imec towards various funding agencies at European, national, and international levels in the health research domain.
  2. You will participate in workshops, conferences, and meetings with governmental stakeholders to ensure that imec's research topics align with work programs.
  3. You will initiate and follow up on funded projects through drafting project proposals, submission, evaluation procedures, negotiation, and setting up cooperation agreements.
  4. You will provide necessary support regarding reporting and project follow-up after project approval.
  5. You will build up a broad knowledge of the funding landscape (Chips JU, SNS JU, HEU, INTERREG, ERDF, …) and actively contribute to these funding programs.

Who you are:

  1. You have a master's or PhD degree in engineering or sciences.
  2. You are eager to learn more about national and international funding policies.
  3. You enjoy networking and ideally have a broad network of contacts related to funding programs and policy.
  4. You have experience as a funded project manager.
  5. You are a team player who can also work independently.
  6. You can process a lot of information quickly and communicate persuasively.
  7. You are result-driven and handle files efficiently and organized.
  8. You are willing to travel within Europe.
  9. You possess strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
