Job summary:


We are looking to grow our organization and create a best-in-class PMO to support our Solutions Transformation, and this role is going to be one the key pillars in that organization.

As the Head of the Project Management Office, you will be instrumental in leading and elevating our project management processes to new heights.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of project managers, driving innovation and optimization, and ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects within the EMEA region.


Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Overall project leadership and decision responsibility with a focus on coordinated project execution between the solution consultants and technical team, procurement, and commissioning/construction teams; maintain client relations, contract and financial management, procurement and contractor management, and team alignment.

Ultimately accountable for Belden financials, schedule, safety, and quality performance to Client and Belden management.
Provide ongoing training and mentoring to internal cross-functional teams, as well as PMO staff, to promote employee development.

Project Management Process:

Develop, implement, and optimize project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.

Innovation in Project Management:
Drive innovation in project management practices, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.

Project Execution and Delivery:

Oversee the execution of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
Monitor customer satisfaction, project timelines, budgets, quality, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
Liaise closely with Commercial Operations during the Deal Desk process to ensure proposals submitted are executable
Work with our EcoSystem and Procurement to prequalify expected subs and vendors.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with stakeholders across the EMEA region to understand project requirements and expectations.

Communicate effectively with senior management and key internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project statuses and addressing any issues.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or PMP certification is preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with three [3] years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
