Accounting Advisor

Job Description

Joining forces with your colleagues in the Accounting Department, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You manage the general accounting activities;
• You supervise the sales invoices issued by the commercial secretariat;
• You handle VAT declarations for the Netherlands;
• You are the go-to person for the invoice approval software, managing accesses and training new colleagues on its usage;
• You ensure the accounting management of stock, inventory, and reconciliation with the CMMS software;
• You calculate and record depreciations;
• You take part in monthly, quarterly, and annual closures, as well as in preparing certain reports for the group;
• You input purchase invoices into the temporary companies;
• You provide support for the audit of the accounts.

As a member of the Accounting team, you will act as a backup for the following tasks:

• Supplier follow-up, expense reports, and team allowances tracking;
• Credit insurance and bank guarantees management;
• Telephone reception and supplier reminders;
• Internal monitoring of invoice approvals.

Qualifications

• Basic Education: Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
• Professional Experience: 3 to 10 years of experience in an accounting department in a company;
• Languages: Bilingual FR/NL with good knowledge of English;
• Skills: Willingness to learn; meticulous, organized, flexible, and proactive; enjoy teamwork; stress-resistant and able to meet deadlines; comfortable with numbers and IT tools (Excel). Knowledge of Navision is a plus.
