Join Our Team: CCUS Expert Position at ArcelorMittal
The team CTO CO2 and Energy at ArcelorMittal is on a mission to pave the way for Decarbonization in European plants focusing on AM Flat products. We are dedicated to identifying and implementing key technology blocks to decarbonize the steelmaking process.
If you are passionate about reducing carbon emissions and want to make a difference, we are currently seeking a CCUS Expert to be part of our team.
Missions:
- Support all European projects related to CO2 capture, storage (on shore and off-shore), and transformation of CO2 into fuels and chemicals
- Collaborate with central teams on CCUS topics
- Engage with external stakeholders on CCUS matters
Profile – Requirements:
- Background in chemical or energy sectors (research, industry, or engineering)
- Expertise in carbon capture systems and technology
- M.Sc., B.Sc., or higher education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Ability to innovate client-oriented solutions
We value a robust technical background in carbon capture and CO2 purification. Additionally, knowledge in chemical processes for e-fuel production is highly desired. A solid understanding of CO2 storage chains and a network in this area are a plus.
Location:
This position is based in ArcelorMittal Luxembourg or one of the company's European Flat Products plants.
