Functieomschrijving Als Legal Engineer, werkzaam in het Legal Departement van Belfius speel je een cruciale rol in de digitalisering en het vormgeven van een strategie rond het gebruik van technologie binnen Legal.
De job in een notendop
Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:
* Het leiden van en deelnemen aan brainstormsessies, initiatieven en projecten op het gebied van Legal Engineering.
* Het opvolgen van innovaties op de Legal Tech-markt en deze - waar mogelijk via eigen ontwikkeling - integreren binnen de processen van Legal.
* Samenwerken met de bestaande IT-afdelingen van Belfius en Legal teneinde de IT & digitaliseringsprojecten maximaal te kunnen ondersteunen.
* Begeleiden van de transitie van de huidige technologie stack (VB(A), Windows Forms, Microsoft Access ...) naar een future proof programmeertaal.
* Het omzetten van bestaande Legacy toepassingen naar meer moderne oplossingen.
* Het begeleiden van collega-juristen bij het gebruik van nieuwe technologieën in hun dagelijks werk. Profiel Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn
Al kan je er bij ons wel één worden. Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan als je iemand bent met:
* Een Bachelor in Toegepaste Informatica, het beschikken over een Master in de Rechten is een extra troef.
* Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring in Legal Engineering, met leidinggevende rollen bij de ontwikkeling van innovatieve tools in een future proof programmeertaal.
* Aantoonbare ervaring met de ontwikkeling van toepassingen in VB(A), Microsoft Access, Windows Forms, Oracle SQL en Visual Studio.
* Je kan je expertise in Legal Engineering, webscraping en begeleiden van teams bij de implentatie van processen en nieuwe toepassingen onderbouwen.
* Je hebt ervaring in het gebruik van Sharepoint Online, PowerAutomate en Power BI om processen te automatiseren in de M365 omgeving.
* Jij hebt kennis van de werking van Large Language Models en hun toepassingsmogelijkheden binnen Legal.
* Uitstekende communicatievaardigheden (zowel mondeling als schriftelijk).
* Goede onderhandeling skills gericht op win-win oplossingen.
* Een pragmatische en flexibele mindset.
* Een klantgerichte aanpak.
* Een gezonde dosis teamspirit.

* Tweetaligheid (Nederlands/Frans) en een goede kennis van het Engels.
