We are searching for a talented Specialties & Appetizers Engineering Lead CE (Continental Europe) M/F/X . As part of the European McCain Team, your primary responsibility is to lead the conceptual and basic design of Process definition for the projects related to the CE 2030 Masterplan on McCain and Lutosa sites. Your focus will be on driving innovative and cost-effective approaches for Specialties and Appetizers initiatives, all while ensuring compliance with safety and food safety regulations.
As the Engineering Lead, you will collaborate closely with Sites, Regional Engineering Execution Leaders, and Global Appetizers Engineering teams to oversee the implementation and application of best practices across initiatives.
This role is based in Continental Europe, with your main office situated in one of the regional locations. Travel to various sites in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France will be a regular part of your duties. Reporting directly to the Technology & Assets Management Director CE, you will indirectly lead a team of 10 individuals, guiding them towards standardized processes effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise to project execution teams on McCain and Lutosa sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize utility system designs.
- Identify optimization opportunities for existing systems.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in Food Processing.
- Strong project management skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Technical expertise in Food Process systems design, operation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Food safety and Hygienic standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Start-up Management principles.
