Als stagiair bij iO krijg je de kans om de skills aan te scherpen waar jij belang aan hecht. Je wordt meegenomen in échte projecten, en je eindigt je stage met een waaier aan competenties die in de arbeidsmarkt goed van pas komen.

Wil je instaan voor de back-end kwaliteit van ons werk voor trouwe klanten, stuk voor stuk grote namen? Kick je op het bouwen van nieuwe features, en tegelijkertijd onderhouden van de modules en updates die je al gebouwd hebt? Kom dan stage lopen bij iO, gezellig op onze campus in Gent. Op onze campussen lopen alle soorten experts door elkaar — designers, copywriters, video-experts en developers leveren maatwerk af voor klanten als Brussels Airport, Kinepolis, en Manna.

Als onze nieuwste back-end stagiair sta je niet alleen. Op je eerste dag plaatsen we je al in een prachtig projectteam met toegewijde collega's, klaar om te knallen op echte projecten. Je woont onze meetings (standups, demo's, retrospectives) bij als een volwaardig lid van het team. Ook maak je deel uit van een overkoepelend team van digitale specialisten die je met hun projecten laten meekijken én meedoen. Je komt regelmatig in contact met klanten, denkt actief mee met het team over oplossingen en draagt je steentje bij aan het project. En koffie halen voor je collega's? Dat hoeft niet. Maar we gaan ook niet klagen als je dat wel doet, natuurlijk.

Bij iO draait alles rond mensen en talentontwikkeling. En da's natuurlijk niet anders voor stagiairs. Je krijgt in een handomdraai toegang tot meer dan 1500 collega's die graag hun — erg uiteenlopende — expertise met jou delen. Daarnaast nodigen we je regelmatig uit voor een Lunch & Learn-sessie, waarbij een expert uitgebreid vertelt over een bepaald project of een bepaalde case.

Je bent leergierig en vindt het leuk om met verschillende technieken voor verschillende bedrijven te werken
Je schrikt niet af van initiatief en je staat zowel creatief als analytisch sterk
Wat al onze stagiairs wél gemeenschappelijk hebben, is het volgende:
- Je bent nieuwsgierig en niet bang om je vakkennis uit te breiden en toe te passen.
- Je bent communicatief sterk in het Nederlands en kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Engels (andere talen zijn een plus).
- Je kan overweg met een briefing, maar gaat indien nodig ook zelf op zoek naar werk.- Interesse?- Kom eens langs- Lijken we een goede match, dan schieten we snel in actie. Te beginnen met een kennismaking (face-to-face of virtueel) om te kijken of het klikt. Je weet wel, eerste indrukken enzo.- Ontdek je potentieel- Dat viel wel mee, niet? Ronden we die kennismaking allebei af met een goed gevoel, dan nodigen we je uit voor een korte test om te zien hoe jij kan groeien bij iO. Waar en wanneer dat voor jou het beste past.- Ontmoet je collega's- Er zijn hier heel wat mensen die staan te springen om jou te ontmoeten. Bij ons volgend gesprek schuiven twee van je potentiële collega's mee aan tafel om de resultaten van je test te bespreken.- Kom erbij- Zijn we allemaal nog altijd enthousiast? Duik in projecten die je werkelijk uitdagen. Mis je nog wat kennis of een specifieke vaardigheid? Er is altijd wel een collega die voor je klaarstaat en van aanpakken weet.

Tools en training
Bij iO blijf je groeien en bijleren. Trainingsessies op de campus helpen je aan skills waar je zelf nog nooit aan gedacht had. Daarnaast krijg je een persoonlijk opleidingsbudget om jezelf te ontplooien.

Lunch and snacks
Een verzorgde lunch? Je zou voor minder naar kantoor komen. Denk: wekelijkse fruitmanden, de lunch (met liefde bereid) of een verfrissend ijsje tijdens hittegolven.
