PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

As a 3PL Coordinator,

  • You manage the 3PL's partners and ensure their performance to the applicable KPI's, while acting as a central contact person for internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are responsible for the quarterly budgetsetting process and achieving the monthly financial performance for the 3PL's activities.
  • Reassess and setup new distribution strategies.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The workload of the 3PL's Coordinator involves the following activities:

  • Manage and control performance, costs, capacity, and resources at 3PL's locations to support the business needs at short, mid & long terms. Frequent visits to 3PL's will be required.
  • Perform simulations for new distribution models and business cases, while evaluating service and financial impacts.
  • Negotiate contracts terms and rates in accordance with the service, quality requirements and performances requested by Abbott
  • Determine quarterly budgets for operations and freight supported by 3PL's.
  • Ensure monthly financial performance and analyze per the quarterly budget.
  • Maintain, develop and monitor KPI's through Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate very closely with our Quality team ensuring high service level towards our final customers while being compliant to all our quality standards. Strong support and followup to Audits.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES:

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Supply Chain, Economics, Logistics, )
  • 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Proven track record of executing & managing contracts, including negotiations. Ownership to resolve contractual issues with a proactive and leanapproach.
  • Previous experience managing financial budget setting and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of a major ERP (preference for SAP)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • An openminded, outofthebox thinker, able to propose and implement improvements
  • Analytical by nature, processoriented, and capable of analyzing the existing situation and processes following a structured approach
  • Wellorganized and detailoriented
  • Handson, calmness under pressure, stressresistant
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have:

  • Previous working experience in the healthcare industry
  • SAP knowledge
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, and experience in reporting tools such as Business Objects, Power Query, Power BI, and Microsoft Automate is a strong asset
  • Other languages are an asset.
