Privacy Praxis has in depth experience with Data Privacy, with more than 20 years before the new General Data Protection Regulation was published.
Since the GDPR has been published, in May 2016, Privacy Praxis has been one of the first consulting firms to invest in understanding the requirements and the impact the Regulation would have on medium and large organizations.
In that context we are partnering with companies from different sectors and we support them build their roadmap to success, designing the action plan and providing specialized resources to achieve their objectives.
Our clientele includes most of the financial institutions active in Belgium as well as organizations from a variety of sectors, namely telecommunications, HealthCare, marketing, Public Administrations, manufacturing and others.

In a global environment where collecting, processing and storing data is vital for businesses, Privacy Praxis partners with organizations, offering them end to end Data Protection solutions as well as information security advice.
The role
Provide data protection advice with GDPR compliance focus to selected customers.
Provide advice in regard of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 and the Regulation 2016/679
Provide data protection Officer as a service for our customers.
Support the development of the customers' GDPR framework and the implementation of the customers' Data Protection strategy.
Engage in data protection projects, i.e mapping data flows, performing DPIA, assessing third parties,c etc.
Document the progress of the related projects and communicate the results and challenges to the customer's stakeholders.

Your profile
Project management
Previous data protection experience, minimum 5 years
University degree in Law , ICT law
GDPR, DPIA, Data Register and related legislation knowledge, etc....
ISO knowledge is desired.
Very good knowledge of the GDPR and the belgian Privacy Law
Mandatory bilingual (Dutch and French)
Excellent command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage efficiently with the customer's stakeholders.
Ability to engage with cross-functional teams and advocate for data privacy initiatives.
Target oriented and eager to learn, pragmatic mindset
Interest of business development aspects
Certfication Certification in Data Protection desirable i.e. ( IAPP or EIPA,....)
knowledge in the following domain Health sector,....
Driving licence B
