Test Automation Consultant

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
- Perform functional testing and/or liaise with the test team to help ensuring that business and functional requirements enter into the test stream correctly.
- Review of the architecture of existing systems;
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
- Data analysis and data modelling;
- Design and development of architecture components and building blocks;
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and programming languages like Selenium or Cypress.
- Collaborate with the testing team to review and update test cases suitable for automation.
- Maintain and enhance the test automation framework, ensuring clean, organized, and maintainable code.
Requirements:
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Master's degree and 13 years of overall IT professional experience
- 6 years of experience in writing and executing technical and functional test cases;
- 4 years of experience in coordinating functional testing cycles;
- 3 years of experience in conducting quality control assessments;
- 2 years of experience in development of functional automated testing scripts (e.g. Cypress)
- 2 years of experience with UML or CASE tools;
- Good knowledge of the functional testing discipline (e.g. site and acceptance tests);
- Good knowledge of a testing framework tool (e.g. Zephyr, Selenium or Cypress);
- Experience with relational databases;
- Excellent knowledge of XML;
- Knowledge of XBRL is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
- Ability to coordinate and draft functional testing results;
- Ability to give technical presentations
- Ability to prepare testing data respecting defined thresholds;
- Excellent communication skills in English
