SGS offers a wide range of services. Within our Industries & Environment division, we have a leading consulting and engineering firm specializing in industrial environmental policies and safety studies. We are looking for constructive solutions and advising our clients on various environmental issues and challenges. We also provide specialized and legal advice to our industrial clients on environmental matters in the broadest sense of the word.
Your responsibilities:
Working together with a team of technical engineers, you will contribute to process safety at various industrial clients. You will be assigned various projects for this purpose. You will have small studies that may take a few days, but of course, you will also take on projects that last for weeks or longer.
- Ready? Set? Go Once you have completed our internal training process, you will be ready to independently conduct studies and projects. You will regularly visit our industrial clients' premises for this purpose.
- After meticulously analyzing the potential safety risks through modeling, you can provide technical advice and guidance to your clients to ensure their process safety meets the highest standards and norms.
You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in process safety or engineering, and knowledge of process risk analysis and HAZOP is a must. If you also have expertise in Seveso and environmental legislation, this is, of course, a significant advantage.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to report clearly and concisely in Dutch and English (both in writing and over the phone).
Independence, analytical and numerical insight, responsibility, accuracy, hard work, and assertiveness are your key strengths.
