ArcelorMittal launched a supply chain digitalization program to design and develop harmonized Supply Chain Processes and Systems, in Industry 4.0 standards, and roll them out in all its European production sites.


The end goal of this program is to transform the supply chain organisation into one European supply chain, acting on one virtual production mill.


To reach this goal in the area of transport and logistics, ArcelorMittal has purchased the Oracle software OTM, and named its configuration for ArcelorMittal SULTAN.

It will be the unique Flat Europe system for the organization and follow-up of all shipments to customers and between sites.

It covers the full functional scope of planning, chartering, loading instructions, tracking and cost settlement, applied on the different transport modes:
road, rail and maritime.


As SULTAN project manager, you will be responsible for the rollout of this target solution in one or more of our European production sites.


You will work together with a local project pilot, and guide the local team towards a successful deployment of the solution.


Your main activities will be:

  • Develop a clear understanding of Oracle OTM, the market solution to be configured to the needs of the ArcelorMittal supply chain teams. How it works, what is configurable, what is not.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the specific business needs of the production site where the solution is rolled out
  • Guide the local team in the identification of functional gaps and the creation of a change roadmap (processes impacted, change management plan)
  • Facilitate discussion between OTM system architects and local project team in order to solve the gaps for rollout
  • Create and own a transversal plan of all project activities (analysis, configuration, testing, training) and follow up their progress, alert on bottlenecks and roadblocks
  • Report project progress to the ScaleUp steering committee
  • Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Experience in conflict management
  • Cross department coordination of activities
  • Very fluent in English & Dutch
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
