About the job

• The transport coordinator actively contributes to the daily planning of the in and outbound deliveries assigned to the team of transport coordinators._

Responsibilities include
- _Ensures daily planning of inbound and outbound goods;_
- _Processes incoming COA's to validate the quality of incoming raw materials;_
- _Ensures efficient execution of transport planning by carriers; _
- _Ensures adequate adjustment of the planning in case of delays, rush orders and/or planning changes;_
- _Follow-up of transporters, invoices and evaluation of transport partners;_
- _Analyze complaints related to 'Transport' and implement improvements in order to reduce the number of customer complaints;_
- _Passing on all necessary information regarding customer orders to customer care;_
- _Ensures the registration of KPI's and takes the necessary actions to achieve targets;_
- _Contributes to (preventive) risk analyses (following incidents, new processes or improvement of existing processes);_
- _Monitors and follows up on system procedures;_
- _Takes corrective actions in case of changes in organization, vehicles,... _
- _Occasionally participates in project groups to improve logistic flows;_
- _Visits trade fairs and events, reports on these at staff meetings and makes improvement proposals for the warehouse operation and the efficiency of the processes on this basis. Provides necessary expertise and support for internal improvement projects led by warehouse team leaders. _

About you
- _Minimum 2 years experience in Supply Chain roles;_
- _Good insight in the transport and logistic processes. Capable to plan/ prioritize and improve where needed;_
- _Understanding of SAP ECC & SAP EWM

• ON THE JOB LEARNING;_

- _Knowledge of automated Warehouse storage/loading solution(s) will be considered a plus;_
- _Effective communication with team members and other stakeholders;_
- _Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills ;_
- _Good knowledge of English and Dutch. French and German is a plus;_
- _Customer focus, stress resistance, flexibility._
