IT Business Analyst/functional Analyst

- What to expect
- You will define, analyse, validate and maintain functional requirements by working constructively in close liaison with team members, and in line with evolving business requirements
- You will validate proposed solutions to technical and/or business problems in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with technical solutions
- You will create clear and concise documentation, including user stories, process flows, and technical specifications.
- You will maintain accurate and uptodate records of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- You will provide technical or relevant business knowledge during all phases of the development and resolve complex business problems, recognising technical constraints.
- You will challenge the status quo, and think out of the box for alternative/most efficient solutions

- Deep technical analysis skills, translating business needs into functional requirements with technical orientation/scope
- Proficiency in data modelling tools and techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN)
- Knowledge of changedriven methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking), collaborative tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) will be an advantage
- Prior experience with the SwiftNet messaging services (in particular InterAct, FileAct and FIN), will be an advantage
- Experience with Swift's products and services and/or experience in relevant payments/fintech industry will be an advantage (ISO20022)
- Knowledge of Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH) related technologies & use cases will be a strong advantage
- Knowledge of XML will be a strong advantage
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Education
- University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
Experience
- Minimum 45 years in a similar capacity, ideally in a software development environment
- Knowledge/Experience in Agile processes will be an advantageWhat we offer
