Borealis Hotel Group is now seeking to appoint an established General Manager to lead our team in our Holiday Inn Express Brussels Gran Place.


Situated in the heart of Brussels, this 106-bedroom Holiday Inn Express is ideally located close to the World renowned Grand Place central square.


As General Manager your role will be to lead an established team to deliver key metrics in line with brand standards.


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An already exceptional track record driving business
  • Experience working in a branded hotel, preferably within IHG.
  • A strong commercial acumen.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across of levels


Overall, your ability to create a culture of team engagement and service excellence will be key to this role along with your aspiration to grow the business.

You will:


Report directly to the Vice President of Operations (off site) and have a strong focus on the delivery of exceptional guest care, as well as the commercial performance of the business.


Develop your knowledge of the local corporate market to achieve sales in a competitive environment and maximise on all revenue streams.


Be an ambassador for the guest journey and ensure brand values and service behaviours are delivered consistently in a professional and friendly environment.


Lead and develop a current great team across all departments to achieve exceptional performance across the key indicators of profit, people and RGI.


Have strong financial and commercial drive with a proven track record of success and results in order to develop a great business.

"Think we, not me" and maintain effective communication within the hotel and with all stakeholders, whilst balancing the needs of our guests, Borealis Hotel Group ownership and the IHG brand.

Aimbridge Hospitality is managing the hotel, Aimbridge has a combined total of 1400 hotels globally.

We work with big brands such as Hilton, Accor, Marriot and IHG as well as small independent hotels and everything in between.
