Junior Systems and Network Engineer Role
In this role within the EMEA Infrastructure Team, you will play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing the operational environment, assisting with hardware and software support, and ensuring optimal performance and availability of the IT Infrastructure at all times. Your responsibilities will range from managing data center inventories to overseeing international WAN and LAN networks, helping in various infrastructure projects, and contributing to system performance optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage data center inventories and hardware changes
- Implement and monitor enterprise storage and backup systems
- Install and configure new hardware and software
- Document issues and solutions for future reference
- Collaborate on infrastructure projects and server/network-related activities
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Broad knowledge of ICT with understanding of networks, server systems, and ITIL concepts
- Familiarity with technologies like Pure Storage, Cohesity, VMware, Cisco, Juniper, Windows Server, and Linux OS
