machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.
SABCA Brussels is also the home to our "Unmanned Autonomous Systems" aka: the drones solutions unit
Mission
As a calibration specialist, you are responsible for the calibration of physical and electromechanical measuring instruments as well as for the calibration of baths and ovens for production. You track calibrations by consulting the SAP database and generate measurement reports.
Tasks:
Calibration of devices for physical measurements (e.g., force, torque, hardness, pressure, temperature,...) Calibration of devices for electrical measurements (e.g., current, voltage, resistance,...) Calibration of baths and ovens (according to AMS: SAT, TUS, instrument calibration) Performing calibrations, tracking, and generating measurement reports. Analysis of technical specifications and standards. Analysis and validation of internal and external measurement reports. Representing SABCA as a calibration specialist during audits. Collaborating and taking responsibilities at his/her level regarding the EN quality standard and the ISO environmental standard.Profile:
Knowledge of classical measurement techniques.
Excellent computer skills (e.g., Excel, SAP, preferably basic knowledge of networks).
Ability to follow strict procedures with precision.
Analytical mindset and ability to detect errors in data.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Education and Experience:
Higher education diploma (Bachelor's degree in a technical field) or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in a calibration environment is a plus, preferably in the aviation industry or a related industry.
