Senior Data Analyst – Business Intelligence

This position is all about supporting the development and execution of the data function within Radisson Hotel Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation of Data Governance for various data sources to meet key business needs, specifically focused on Business to Business (Travel Agency and Corporate profile).
Collaborating with the Business Intelligence team, this role involves supporting the overall Data & Analytics strategy. The main tasks include managing development projects related to data journey and control dashboards in the Master Data Management Tool to assist B2B business stakeholders. It's important to note that this is not an IT role, but rather acting as a trusted advisor for the business and bridging the gap with the IT Team.
Reporting to the Global Data Director, this position will closely work with key members of the business areas.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on B2B Data projects, coordinating all stakeholders effectively.
- Designing and implementing Data Quality projects to ensure consistent data management practices across the organization, particularly focusing on cleaning Travel Agencies and Corporate profiles.
- Gathering report requirements, creating documentation for improved data quality and automation, including prototypes for new report dashboards.
- Creating valuable insights and delivering them to end-users with a strong focus on actionable data.
- Supporting other team members in their tasks, sharing responsibilities and conducting ad-hoc analysis.
- Ensuring the proper implementation and utilization of B2B Master Data/Golden records.
- Providing coaching and training to end-users regarding the B2B Master Data Platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Master Data Concepts - Golden records.
- Analytical background with experience in S4Hanna and SAP CRM Data (Knowledge of Reltio Products is a plus).
- Extensive experience (3-5 Years) in data quality projects.
- Knowledge of database concepts, relational databases, and data exploitation techniques (e.g., SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Experience in data management projects, Data Profiling, and Business Advanced Analytics.
- Ability to provide tactical solutions while managing various issues related to business intelligence projects.
- Organized and effective - taking a well-structured approach to task management.
- Strong influencing and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to pitch information at the appropriate level.
- Critical thinker with the ability to understand logical connections between ideas and evaluate arguments.
- Strategic thinking - anticipating and addressing problems and opportunities.
- Advocating for positive change and improvements through Change Management.
- Self-motivated individual capable of overseeing projects from development to deployment.
