Legal & Tax Risk Control is een nieuw op te zetten departement dat de tweedelijnscontroles meer wil centraliseren en formaliseren om de activiteiten van Belfius Bank in juridisch en fiscaal opzicht te beschermen en conformer te maken. Het is dus de bedoeling om het beleid, de procedures en de controles die noodzakelijk zijn om de overeenstemming met de geldende juridische en fiscale reglementeringen te garanderen, op een nog meer geformaliseerde en documentair onderbouwde manier te organiseren, toe te zien op de daadwerkelijke implementering ervan door departementen zoals Marketing, Distributie, CTS, Technology... en de daarmee gepaard gaande risico's te beheren. Dit betekent dat er nauw moet worden samengewerkt met de betrokken departementen, de eerste verdedigingslijn, met de departementen Legal & Tax, die advies geven, en met diverse Risk-departementen om te zorgen voor een uniforme methodologie inzake risicobeheer.

De job in een notendop

Als teamchef bestaat je taak erin:

  • de ontwikkeling en de toepassing van het beleid en de procedures te coördineren om een efficiënte formalisering van de reglementaire en fiscale overeenstemming van de onderneming met de door Belfius Bank vastgestelde normen inzake risicobeheer te garanderen;
  • alle maatregelen met het oog op de efficiënte toepassing (en de bijbehorende monitoring en rapportage) van dat beleid en die procedures en alle door Legal & Tax verleende adviezen te coördineren via een adequaat bestuur en regelmatige controles van de betrokken departementen;
  • toe te zien op de evaluatie van de efficiëntie van het beleid, de procedures en de conformiteitscontroles van de onderneming in reglementair en fiscaal opzicht, zo nodig verbeteringen aan te bevelen en aan het risicocomité te rapporteren;
  • het TaLco (Tax and Legal Comité), het transversaal comité dat met de bewaking van de juridische en fiscale conformiteit is belast, te coördineren;
  • een klein team van 3 à 5 personen te leiden.
Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn

Al kan je er bij ons wel één worden. Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan als:

  • je een diploma van bachelor of master op zak hebt en minstens 5 jaar ervaring hebt op het vlak van risicobeheer, interne audit of compliance;
  • je solide vaardigheden bezit op gebied van communicatie en interpersoonlijke betrekkingen;
  • je aanleg hebt om problemen op te lossen en om, zo nodig, doortastende maatregelen te nemen;
  • je autonoom kunt werken en weloverwogen beslissingen kunt nemen;
  • je een teamspeler bent en kunt samenwerken met personen van alle hiërarchische niveaus;
  • je over leidinggevende capaciteiten beschikt, zowel bij team als change management.

Je scoort nog meer punten als:

  • je tweetalig bent (Nederlands-Frans), met een goede kennis van het Engels;
  • je een algemene kennis van de in de bankwereld geldende fiscale reglementen en wetten bezit.
