To best support its customers, Mapei Belgium is looking for a Customer Service Specialist.
As a Customer Service Specialist, your mission is to meet the needs of customers and prospects with assertiveness and positivity, actively contributing to customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities revolve around 3 main areas:
#1 - Management of orders from our branches (70%)
- Order processing
- Sending loading requests to the carrier and transmitting transport information to the branches
- Monitoring loading progress
- Receiving loaded goods and preparing invoices
- Backorders tracking
- Transport costs encoding and reception
#2 - Management of incoming emails and calls (20%)
- Order processing (from the warehouse)
- Order tracking through daily contact with customers, carriers, delegates, and logistics
- Backorders tracking
- Creating price offers and sending them to customers
#3 - Handling complaints and invoice disputes (10%)
- Creation of appropriate documents
- Managing disputes with customers
- Quality summary table management for the monthly logistics report
You will join Mapei's Customer Service team, consisting of 6 members including Carole, Jeannine, Alexandre, Jennifer, and Anne-Catherine. The team fosters a great synergy where everyone supports each other.
Jennifer supervises the team while handling the same tasks as the rest. Anne-Catherine oversees Sales Support, with a hands-on and versatile approach.
Your education and hard skills:
- Academic background in commerce or secretarial studies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluency in French, excellent knowledge of Dutch (English is a plus)
- Experience with an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX is a bonus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
