We are looking for a highly motivated Business & Functional Analyst to join our team at Methis Consulting Belgium (75 people in Belgium and The Netherlands). The Analyst will be responsible for working closely with our customers to understand their business needs and requirements and then translate these into technical solutions. We work for leading companies such as Fluvius, Engie, Elia, ORES, Sibelga, Enexis, Stedin, Equans, Atrias, De Watergroep, Eneco, etc.
You will be part of Agile teams for projects in the energy or mobility sector.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and goals
- Create detailed project plans and timelines
- Write functional specifications
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Support and manage project development and coordinate with stakeholders
- Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders
- Support end users for training and coaching.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Master's degree (Information Technology, TEW, commercial engineer or engineering degree) - MUST
- Minimum of 2 years working experience, ideally in a Business or Functional Analyst role
- Experience in the energy or mobility market is a plus but not a requirement
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Experience with BPMN
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
- Team player with active listening and understanding
- Quality result oriented and customer focused
- Pro-active and assertive
- You have French or Dutch as your mother tongue and are fluent in English MUST
- Willing to work in Brussels on a regular basis
