Corporate Communications Manager:
Working closely with the Head of Global Marketing Communication, the Head of People and Organization and interacting directly with members of the executive committee, the Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for
developing and executing all external corporate (mainly IR related) and internal communications and programs to enhance the organization's reputation and build strong relationships with target audiences.
The Corporate Communications Manager:
- will be responsible for developing and executing actions to
create compelling and persuasive external corporate (mainly IR related) and internal communications supporting our business goals.
supports the establishment of a strong external and internal
corporate branding.
Accountabilities
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following accountabilities and responsibilities:
In general:
-
Manage (develop and execute)
all internal and external corporate (mainly IR related) communications;:
- Responsibility for financial monitoring of the internal & corporate communications
budget in collaboration with the Departmental budget holder; - Manage and interact with key
suppliers with respect to communication matters (communication agency, international PR agency;).
Corporate Communications:

Manage all corporate communications,
press releases &
annual and half-year financial reporting including creation (in collaboration with different stakeholders) and publishing of the reports and coordination of
investor webcasts;
- Create and further improve
corporate (multimedia) presentations and other communications tools representing the company among all stakeholders such as but not limited to the corporate presentations, IR website,; - Manage the
gatekeeping review process related to all public corporate communications and materials; - Comanage the
social media channels and educate internal audiences on corporate communications & social media guidelines in close collaboration with Marketing Communication; - Coordinate and support organization of
corporate conferences and events including the annual shareholder meetings (in collaboration with the legal team) and investor related events such as roadshows;
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all external communications activities.
Internal Communications:
- Support organization of (quarterly)
staff meetings in close collaboration with HR and executive management team; - Manage
employee surveys and support
employer branding & employee wellbeing initiatives (in collaboration with the HR Team);
Audit and evaluate the effectiveness
of all
internal communications and advise on best practices and tools.
Profile requirements
Master degree in Communications, Journalism, Economics, Science or related; Or equivalent through experience and/or training.
Min. 5 years of experience in an International Corporate Communications role;
Experience in Internal Communications role is preferred;
Experience in a listed company environment in healthcare, pharma or medical devices/biotech/Medtech is an asset;
Technical/Theoretical knowledge, skills and expertise
- Strong communication skills, oral and written;
- Accurate and detailoriented especially in writing;
- Capacity to translate strategic & scientific language into clear messages, presentations and publications;
- Gogetter, handson, proactive and flexible attitude;
- Good planning & coordination skills;
- Able to interact at with a diversity of internal and external audiences;
- Constructive approach to problem solving and ability to make quick and sound decisions;
- Good knowhow of communication channels & tools including print, video, audio, social media & digital;
- Good knowledge of digital and social media management.
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g. SalesForce Marketing Cloud), Survey software (e.g. SurveyMonkey) & software for graphic design (e.g. Canva, Photoshop) is an asset.
Understanding of corporate governance is an asset but not a requirement;
