YOUR CHALLENGES

As part of the Accountants team, you will provide support to the Finance Teams Cost Control and Credit & Revenue within H.

Essers Liquid Bulk at Zeebrugge. You will independently organize, execute, and verify the complete accounting of different entities within the Liquid Bulk group.

What this means specifically:

• Debtor & creditor management
• Interim reconciliation of supplier and customer balances
• Processing of bank and miscellaneous entries, as well as support with certain purchase and sales registrations
• Accounting processing of financial data
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and critical review of the balance sheet
• Take the lead in the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements
• Ensuring that legal accounting rules are applied
• Prepare statutory and legal reports
• Collaborate with other finance teams in preparation of reporting and budget preparation
• Participate in GL related (ad hoc) projects
• Assist with the annual audit

YOUR TALENTS

• Bachelor of Accountancy-Taxation and/or equivalent through relevant experience
• Looking at things with an analytical critical eye
• Projectbased work is totally your thing
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Clear communication at all levels in Dutch and English
