Job Description:

Nouvall Engineering Services has an opening for a Quantity Surveyor in Antwerp at a construction site. The selected candidate will be responsible for quantity surveying across various construction packages such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrument Works, among others.


  • Check and approve unit price measurements and as-built measurements
  • Prepare and issue weekly reports on measurement status
  • Ensure timely receipt of measurements from construction contractors
  • Maintain proper filing of all measurements for auditing purposes
  • Verify progress payment certificates and extra works evaluations
  • Participate in contract revisions and construction contractors' claims analysis
  • Monitor correspondence, deadlines, and meetings related to subcontracting
  • Update the subcontracts monthly report


Requirements:

The ideal candidate should:

  • Hold an engineering or relevant degree with at least 2 years of quantity surveying experience
  • Have excellent English skills, Dutch proficiency is a bonus
  • Be proficient in MS Office, especially with complex Excel files
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in integrated teams
  • Be a team player and eligible to work in Belgium
  • Be willing to work at construction sites
